Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than listed.

After trying several cheaper brands I came to a conclusion. Check out the assessment template. 60% 5-star, 20% 4-star, 20% 1-star are the same cable just with different brands. The same applies to other assessment templates. The above allows me to dispense with other cables, this is the cheapest adapter that works great on my computer. After trying so many, it's hard to believe that any of them actually work perfectly without you having to fiddle with the system to make it work. Not only that, it supports resolutions up to 2048 x 1152 (better than advertised). On my screen 1024x600. In other words, it doesn't ask the screen what resolution it supports before presenting a list of resolutions for me to choose from. Obviously this will only overload some screens; but for my screen it lowers the image resolution and displays it very clearly even at 2048 x 1152.

Pros
  • Connectivity
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
