Just received on 06/16/2015. 3 stars until I ride my bike with it. Rain is expected in the next few days so check out the full review. For now I installed it on my bike with 1" handlebars. The installation was very easy. No tools are required and the installation literally took 1 minute after reading the 3 steps. If your handlebar is less than 1 inch long , it doesn't hold your handlebars. As for the security of the mount: it sits snugly and securely on the handlebars. It looks like it takes quite a bit of pressure to change the position of the mount on the handlebars. That's a good. Fit of the phone: I have a note 4 and it fits well without my BIG case. I'll have to buy a lighter case if I want to use the cradle case. Medium cases or no case are ideal. There are two rubberized arms that lengthen or narrow and grab the phone from the side. They won't stretch or contract so you don't have to worry about them popping open and your phone falling out.The rope prevents d as the phone slides down and out of the holder. Unfortunately, this was designed for phones that have the headphone jack on the bottom. The Note 4's headphone jack is on the top of the phone, making this stylus useless for the Note 4. I plan on using my phone in a horizontal position most of the time anyway, so my arms keep it from sliding down and out. The mount needs some modification to compensate for the lack of security in portrait mode as the stylus is unusable. Overall, it makes a solid and secure impression. Once I ride him I will increase or decrease my stars depending on his performance during the ride.

Cons
  • Large and bulky
