Seriously, great cleaner!

(Disclaimer: I really like vacuum cleaners. I really don't know why, and no, I don't have a weird or inappropriate obsession, I just find vacuum cleaners funny). Holy guacamole! This vacuum cleaner is AMAZING. I bought this vacuum cleaner to use as part of a small house cleaning I do over the weekend. It met my expectations and then some. ADVANTAGES: - This vacuum cleaner is powerful. I spent a lot of time talking to one of the caregivers at work about the pros and cons of different backpack vacuums. I chose this one because of the performance/price. It's not one of those expensive commercial backpack vacuums, but I'm sure I'm getting the same (if not better, in some cases) performance and efficiency with this vacuum for 60% of the price. - The vacuum cleaner is universal. . The variety of attachments, the length of the extensions, and the way the attachment rotates make vacuuming incredibly easy and thorough. Vacuuming ceilings and air vents is just as easy as vacuuming hard floors. One of my favorite uses is the feather duster. This vacuum makes dusting specific areas incredibly easy (and I hate dust). Obviously it doesn't work well for wiping down shelves full of items, but the following areas are great examples: blinds and the part that holds the blinds (don't know what it's called haha), crown molding, air vents, some light fixtures, below and above Closets, on and around the washer/dryer etc. this vacuum has changed my mind about cleaning stairs. Cleaning stairs used to be a tedious, difficult and frankly annoying job. This vacuum cleaner turned 10-20 minutes (depending on the stairs) into 2 minutes. The design of the vacuum cleaner is actually quite simple and hence cleaning and keeping it clean is very easy. There aren't any complicated nooks or crannies to work with, and most of the details seemed built to last. - When worn properly, this vacuum cleaner is comfortable. CONS: - The vacuum cleaner takes some getting used to. Trying to turn on the vacuum and get comfortable takes time. I think it's a matter of trial and error. For those unfamiliar with using backpack vacuums, it can definitely take time to learn how to navigate small areas differently. After a few minutes, especially if you carry the vacuum cleaner properly, you may forget that a relatively large object is strapped to your back. So I stumbled upon a few things (not serious, just something to think about). This vacuum isn't designed to clean carpets, and it's obvious. It does an excellent job of cleaning super-flat carpets (e.g. in schools and offices), but there is nothing more to be said. Carpeting really requires a whisk brush and something with wheels, which this vacuum obviously doesn't have. This vacuum cleaner is NOT a wet vacuum cleaner. It is absolutely not suitable for collecting liquids and should be avoided at all costs. (As a note, a janitor I was friends with mentioned that adding baking soda to liquids and then vacuuming up the baking soda works really well and gets around this problem.) In general, the vacuum cleaner does its job well. do! If you're looking for something that makes cleaning hard floors even easier (whether for commercial use or even domestic use), then this vacuum cleaner is for you. The fact that it's intended for commercial use means you can conveniently use it "outside" on a porch, patio, garage, etc.
