I liked the style of this teapot. It looked easy to hold and pour. It's not like this. The handle felt ergonomic and was easy to hold and pour without the vapor going directly to your hand. Thing is the spout was too high and I had to tilt the kettle much lower to pour. Because of this, the steam rose and burned my hand. If you look at a picture of a man pouring while tipping his glass, you can't do that with a hot cup of joe. Now imagine that the kettle is at a much more vertical angle to pour the water into the mug. That sends the vapor right into your hands! Otherwise the kettle was well heated and the whistle was good. On the other hand, the eye-catching, very large teapot mark on the side was ugly. Nobody should pay to promote this company. Even Le Crueset and All Clad are reluctant to place their logo and they are much more expensive. I sent them back but mainly because of the steam burns on my hand. If it were a good teapot, brazen advertising could be tolerated. No recommendations from me.
