These garments are more like fine sponges than the little terry cloth cleaners you find in supermarkets. They are delicate enough to keep a small cleaning item handy. Before using one I boiled it for a minute and feel like I have to wash it in the dishwasher every time I run the dishwasher. They can be washed, but don't expect them to come out really clean if you don't wash them. I'm not sure how long-lasting they are, but the seller claims they can be washed 200 times, so that sounds promising. Works like a paper towel, but not something you can throw away right away.
