Used on hardwood floors, not stairs.
I used it on the parquet floor where my mother got in/out of bed. The floor is slippery and adding carpet will cause other problems so I put 4 strips on the floor and it is no longer slippery. They were easy to install and are transparent enough that you don't notice them that much. They have been in use for about 2 months and still hold firmly to the floor and prevent my mother from slipping.
