Adheres and limits flow. You have to fall a lot for this to work reliably. It doesn't work well from my 8 foot elevated tank unless you fill the glass on the bottom. When I tried to fill the tractor with only 3ft full drop from the tank outlet it only allowed a leak even when the tank was almost full of diesel. I had to parse it at least once before releasing it. I do not like it at all. They should be of much better quality.
