Bought a new fill pump with this flow meter for our tank two years ago. The meter stopped working six months ago. This is a replacement. Was as described, works as it should. I hope this one lasts longer than the original.

The total gallon gauge read more than 25 gallons. Remove the front plastic bezel and carefully reset the dials to 00000.0. The instruction/information booklet should tell you how to reset the total gallons used.

Fill-Rite makes quality products. We bought this mechanical flow meter and a Fill-Rite electronic flow meter for comparison purposes and decided to keep the electronic version as it is smaller and fits better in our fuel tank due to our space constraints. We have a Fill-Rite fuel transfer system. pump, and we have had other Fill-Rite products in the past. Very high quality products. We are very satisfied with everything the company offers.

Adheres and limits flow. You have to fall a lot for this to work reliably. It doesn't work well from my 8 foot elevated tank unless you fill the glass on the bottom. When I tried to fill the tractor with only 3ft full drop from the tank outlet it only allowed a leak even when the tank was almost full of diesel. I had to parse it at least once before releasing it. I do not like it at all. They should be of much better quality.

Not impressed. I use the same brand (Fill-Rite) 15 GPM pump to fuel our gas vehicles. As long as the pump is running at full power, everything is fine. Approach to filling and let the pump only pump at 10-25% capacity, the device does not read the fuel flowing through it. We have a 2020 Rav4 that everyone but Toyota has a known problem getting the last 4+ gallons of fuel in the tank and the last 4+ gallons need to be filled slowly. This meter looks good and I've had good luck with Fill-Rite in the past. I use it on a diesel transfer tank. This fuel meter works with diesel, gasoline, kerosene, mineral spirits, Stoddard solvents and heptane. It is measured in gallons and tenths. It has a main counter equal to total gallons and a secondary counter that can be reset by turning the wheel on the side.
