Review on Megainvo Rechargeable Windproof Flameless Electronic by Vera Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is my new favorite gadget!

EDIT: After much use, my lighter has (temporarily) stopped working. Nevertheless 5 star rating! The nodes that emitted plasma arcs were just sooty and needed cleaning before my lighter worked perfectly again. This has happened a few times after heavy use of sooted candle wicks, and each time a good sharp point (like a fork tine) can get them working like new again. my house?! I stumbled across this article while looking for good discounts on multi packs of long nose lighters: My partner and I often have a candle burning and it's frustrating how quickly we end up using lighters that are only used for this purpose. I never thought they would make plasma lighters in this style! I've always thought they were cool, but since I don't smoke I've never really felt the need for shorter lighters. Needless to say, when I discovered this item that both looks cool and saves me the hassle of constantly buying disposable lighters, I was sold despite having a slight suspicion that it wouldn't be as cool as I thought it would be . Spoilers: It's as cool as I was hoping, and then a little more! what does it do Well, actually he just lights things like candles and incense sticks. But it looks and sounds totally futuristic, PLUS it's more environmentally friendly than gas powered lighters, so I'm blown away. I really wish I had more uses for this as I think my partner is now worried I will burn the house down LOL! Pros: looks really cool, rechargeable, eco-friendly, works very quickly and efficiently to light fuses, long and flexible neck, and mine played for weeks on only two charges (I know other reviewers said there aren't any, so I think they may have gotten a looser block) Cons: I'm out of stuff to rock with it! Definitely worth buying if you need to buy candle lighters occasionally. As much fun as I have lighting candles, remember these are not toys!
