The pump itself is compact and lightweight. Very pleasant. HOWEVER the rubber dust cap doesn't snap on very well and barely stays on the thin strip of rubber which will DEFINITELY snap after a few uses. The mount is on the side and can be mounted alone or under the bottle cage. But he sticks out a little, which can hit the leg. Also, there is nothing holding the pump in the compressed state, it can easily slip out. Putting this in a bag or backpack should work just fine. If you want it to mount to your bike frame, you might want to reconsider this purchase.
