Bought as a Christmas present for my niece. She loves it! I've seen her use it quite a bit. Walk with her in a semi-sitting position and learn to balance along the way. I've read about these Strider type balance bikes and they're really great for little ones to get a feel for the bike, learn balance, gain confidence and start riding. This particular brand was a good deal for Christmas. I loved her designs and knew my niece would love the pink color scheme. A braking mechanism was added to this model, but I don't think it's needed or important.
