This vest is very comfortable, and although it's filled with lots of down (a bit bulky, but not bad), the top part is definitely warmer. I'm talking about sweating when it's 20°F outside. Where the elements are all over my body, here in the Pacific Northwest, you don't even feel the gale force winds where this vest covers. It's too early to write about its durability. But if you are looking for something that will not leave you indifferent, then this is what you need. I could never wear a whole jacket like this. If you are one of those people who is constantly cold, this is for you. Insanely warm, pretty comfy. 5 stars so far. This thing kept me warm during the blizzard at the Olympics, but otherwise I was underdressed for the unexpected weather.
