Review on Effortlessly Sharp And Stylish: Ninja Foodi NeverDull Premium 13 Piece Knife System With German Stainless Steel Blades And Built-In Sharpener In Walnut Stain/Black by Giles Lacoste

Decent but large - my new review

This set comes with a lot of knives, a few of which I haven’t had in a set before. The block is very nice; it’s smooth finish and beautiful color look lovely on the counter. The sharpener is a monstrosity, though, and doesn’t work as well or as easily as I had hoped. And honestly, the sharpener was what intrigued me most about this set.The knives are a good weight and are nice and sharp. Aside from the bread knife, none of them are serrated including the steak knives. I assume this is so they can be used with the attached sharpener. I don’t particularly care for steak knives that aren’t serrated and the sharpness of these make me a little uneasy having them on the table for dinner since I have young children. Plus, without the serration they just don’t cut meat as well. The knives have a full tang, the metal runs through the entire handle, which makes them more durable. Unfortunately, with my set the metal/tang is ever so slightly wider than the wooden handle (not flush as it should be), and though the metal isn’t sharp it has an edge that makes it uncomfortable to handle. Otherwise the knives seem well made.Unless you are in need of every one of these knives, I would suggest putting the money into a couple of knives that you know you will use frequently and a set of nice steak knives (this set only has 4 anyway), then go and have them sharpened from time to time.
