They cast a nice golden/amber colored flame (not bright) so they're more for .
The candles all worked as did their timers. They cast a nice golden/amber colored flame (not bright) so they're more for mood and ambiance than for lighting. I use them in glass votive holders, but put in other glass jars and decorations throughout the year. My only complaint is that the round batteries required for these flameless candles do not last that long.
