Too tall, needs to be low profile.

This drain is not low profile enough to consider using on a second story unless you plan to reinforce your floor joist and sub floor… the lowest adjustment the lip of the drain can go is about 4” off the floor, which makes you have to pour a 4”shower pan which is a waste of time and materials. If this was a lower profile I would love it. It looks clean, great plus is the straining bucket is used as a drain catch, but it’s just not good to install, especially in a 8’ x 4’ walk in shower…
