Review on 16 inch Acacia Wood πŸ”ͺ Magnetic Knife Holder for Wall - KEEMAKE by Robert Dickinson

Pre-drilled holes for easy installation

I liked the pre-drilled holes for installation. The block came with 3 screws and 2 holes. Three screws hold my knife holder perfectly. There is a base plate that screws into the wall for easy installation. The magnet holder slides on a slanted base plate. The magnets hold very well and the device is held firmly when the knife is pulled out of the holder. I applied some cutting board oil to the surface of the knife holder. I usually put wet knives on the holder and the mineral oil helps protect the wood. Since I have thick tile walls I used the pre-drilled holes as a template to etch the tiles a little. I then used a tile bit to cut a hole for the plastic anchor. I was very afraid to drill a hole in my plush tile wall because there is no turning back when drilling tiles. Good thing the knife holder is a keeper.

Pros
  • Magnetic knife strips
Cons
  • Good but not great
