Everything went well except for the insoles.
Couldn't use the drill as it has a half inch shank so I had to use my Dewalt 3/8 bit. The faucet at the entrance is smooth and clean. The problem was with stakes. They went in, but somehow the inserts in the tap's threads expanded, causing my screws to cross threads from the start. I had to remove the insert and try another one and the same thing. Not sure what's causing this, but I'll try the Helicoil brand and see if that solves the problem.
