Review on SONY BDP S6700 2K Upscaling Bluetooth Television & Video in Blu-ray Players & Recorders by Nathaniel Collins

DO NOT BUY Sony BDP-S6700

I can't rate this kit so this review is only for the Sony BDP-S6700 player itself. The player plays DVDs fine but you put 4K UHD a (which this unit is supposed to play like Star Wars movies and it doesn't read the disc. Insert the DVD version and you're done. Now for the sound quality. that sucks too. We usually watch our TV on volume 18, to listen to the DVD version of the film, the volume should be set to around 50. You heard that right, you can do better if you want to go further into the Sony BDP Audio Settings - S6700 and screw up all the settings that are made for everything else works that is hooked up to the TV like your 5.2 surround sound gear, after all I didn't buy that from Revain I bought 2 of these much cheaper at Wall-E World Own Usually a pallet full and they were so cheap I bought two units. BIG MISTAKE because both suck and are connected to different TVs for same reasons above. Unfortunately, both are connected to SONY televisions. So you would think that SONY would make 4K UHD players that would work with SONY TVs. Is not it? Ha, they don't work well on any of our TVs. One is SONY before SMART TV era and the other is SONY 4K UHD TV. As I said, the Sony BDP-S6700 is junk, so if you want to buy this junk, you should at least get it cheaper somewhere else. If you buy it, don't say you weren't warned. I guess I should say you get what you pay for. PS: Apparently I wasn't paid to leave a positive review. In fact, I am in no way affiliated with SONY or any company that sells SONY. My rating is my own opinion.
