Review on Power Actuator Honda ACCORD RIDGELINE Replacement Parts by Joey Richardson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive Replacement OEM

The door lock actuators on most early 2000's vehicles are much cheaper to replace than going through a mechanic. The labor cost is probably 8-10x the cost of the part. It's nice not to pay $80-$100 labor to install a $10 drive. Watch a YouTube video to learn how to replace a drive. Note that if you are replacing the driver's rear door instead of the driver's door actuator, you will have an extra wire connector on the actuator that will not be used. The optional wired connection is only used on the driver's door, so it opens with one press of the remote control instead of two. I spent a few minutes digging around the tailgate for another wire before realizing that the old OEM actuator didn't have two electrical connectors when I removed it.
