Review on Protective Window Air Conditioner Cover Small, with Full Bottom Coverage - JEACENT by Kofi Wills

Love this air conditioner cover

Wow, I am just blown away by this air conditioner cover. Sure, it costs $20, or nearly three times the price of a basic $7-10 cheap plastic/nylon air conditioner sheet (e.g. from Frost King), but this material is much stronger and more aesthetically pleasing than the "Gray" alternative ". or plastic. I also like that it doesn't have a bottom "slit" flap, which is only useful if you have legs or support to wrap around. We didn't need it for my air conditioner, and we wanted it to fit snugly around the perimeter to keep cold drafts from entering the house through the air conditioner. So far this winter we've had two light snowfalls and it works well and suits the house well. Having used several cheaper alternatives that were prone to deflating or just plain unreliable, I'm glad I bought Jeacent. Please note that while the material is thick it is not insulated so I put some foam inside or if you have extra for Christmas some bubble wrap. I can't wait to put it away after winter and use it again next year. So far I am amazed and hence the review. My air conditioner looks just like the pictures here and I didn't have to find my own cords or rope to tie it down making maintenance easier.

Pros
  • Prevents cold drafts through the units, covers the entire outside (including the underside) of the window unit
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
