FYI, this spoon holds 1 1/4 tablespoons, not 1 tablespoon. (The image on the left shows an empty red actual 1 tablespoon leveled into this spoon - as you can see it doesn't reach to the level). Works for me, I love strong coffee and recently made a blend of French coffee and chicory. I use a 1 liter french press, with this spoon I measure 3 full spoons with a slider. I don't use a clamp, my new brand comes canned and my bagged Pac NW brands have good wire clamps.
