I don't know what I was thinking but I've had a lot of bark collars and none of them had to replace batteries. They were all charged with USB cables, but it is NOT. For the price, however, they work well if you don't mind looking for the odd-sized batteries they need. Luckily they sent two extra batteries so I don't have to rush to find a replacement!
