This cardigan is less like a knitted sweater and more like jersey fabric (t-shirt or sweatshirt material). It has a tailored profile that makes it look like a slim-fitting jacket, which makes it ideal for the office. I'm 5'4" and 145 lbs. I ordered this in size L, which fits me comfortably (not in the least bit loose) through the torso, hitting just below my hip bones. The sleeves, which are billed as 3/4, actually come down to just above my wrists, which looks a bit odd, but I'm short so it's wasn't unexpected. I tend to push my sleeves up anyway. The one detail that I don't love are the tiny silver rivets that run up either side of the placket. While they aren't awful, they're a bit cheesy and I think the garment would be much more sophisticated without them. Usually, with a piece like this, simplicity is best.But overall, an attractive cardigan that will coordinate with many pieces in my wardrobe and make any outfit look more pulled together.
