So we live in Utah where I don't have allergies for the most part but we do have some dusty air. I bought this for our small basement apartment because we just adopted two kittens and I have an apocalyptic cat allergy. While taking allergy pills, I wanted something that would help keep the air fresh and get rid of the smell. This cleaner does it for the most part. Pros: - It has a very simple user interface - It has an easily accessible filter that appears to be HEPA - It has an adaptive fan to keep up with the air quality Cons: - It runs at the lowest speed most of the time, is but very aggressive when wet. - After a week of use, I don't immediately realize that something is being filtered. However, vacuuming the floor removes a TON of dust in just a few days, so I know there is something to filter. I'll keep an eye on it and post an update in a month.
