No water comes out, the problem was with the float switch.
I had no water when I started the dishwasher. I thought it was the water inlet valve. Unfortunately this did not solve the problem. It turned out to be the float switch which is cheaper and easier to replace. My advice is to buy both because if you're replacing the water inlet valve anyway, you might as well replace the float switch.
