Range and performance are excellent. I power it over 100ft CAT5e with a TP-Link Gigabit PoE switch. Can easily boost Comcast connection speed up to 175Mbps at 5GHz. Easy attachment to suspended ceiling beams. The package included three different sized pairs of clips so it fits both narrow and wide crossbars which was nice. The manual doesn't mention this, it just says it comes with mounting hardware, so I thought I missed something important when they were only optional. I dock a star mainly for the web interface. The design is straight from 2002 and could be much better, both in UI and UX. Every small change requires a complete restart of the device - even setting the time requires a restart. Anything you want to do with this device can be done, but you'll have to dig through the interface to find it. However, for the price and performance this is an excellent device and I will definitely be buying it again.
