This access point is not for beginners. However, it works well, it covers my whole house where others have had trouble with it. I have recommended this device to several friends and have only heard rave reviews from them.

I bought three of these APs and had problems from the start. After setting it up I was able to connect, but later came back and got a "connected but no internet" message on my computer and it said I had a problem with the IP address on my phone. After restarting, I found Samsung devices not connecting while Apple devices connect fine. After the next reset everything was reversed! They are being removed and I just bought some EnGenius routers which connect great!

Range and performance are excellent. I power it over 100ft CAT5e with a TP-Link Gigabit PoE switch. Can easily boost Comcast connection speed up to 175Mbps at 5GHz. Easy attachment to suspended ceiling beams. The package included three different sized pairs of clips so it fits both narrow and wide crossbars which was nice. I'm not sure what's going on but I received a provided unit which turned out to be used. He had someone's bizarre configuration. I spent a lot of time sorting it out and factory resetting it. Not impressed who completed this order. The product really works as advertised.

Long time user of the dlink Enterprise product and this article does not disappoint. Mount it in the middle of your house on the wall via POE and easily provide full coverage of 2 and 5GHz, as well as in the garden and outdoors. The steering also works great. Pros: VLAN configuration DHCP configuration incl. on or off Support for multiple SSIDs Sockets were included, although they weren't Handy for setting up the router.
