Why does it have such a high rating? Dries hair twice as long as my 17 year old worn blow dryer. The jets get very hot (but there is no dryer outside). Investments are rubbish. There was almost no force to force air through them, which took much longer to dry. My hair is frizzy and all messed up. Did nothing to add volume, just tangled and singed my hair when using the volume attachment. This dryer makes a disgusting, piercing noise (maybe because of the plastic fan inside?). Far from calm. It's way louder than any hair dryer I've ever used. The air controls are pretty much useless. The heat difference between 2 and 3 is not large. Giving back for something that works.
