I've put in over 4000 hours on these and they work great. I have these in my jeep which is notorious for melting the headlight switch if you drive constantly at night. This is ensured by the low power consumption of these headlights! No more melted switches and very nice bright backlight. They may seem expensive at first, but if you haven't changed lightbulbs and switches for a couple of years, you'll appreciate it. I really like these headlights, this is my third set - now I have them on all jeeps. Never go back to halogens or HID. Update February 2017 - Since writing the above review I have put another 3200+ hours into these headlights. I haven't had a single crash or flare of any kind. A few months ago I had bad luck and crashed my jeep into a deer on the freeway and my bumper and roll bar saved the car from total destruction. The entire front brace cracked and the grille broke, the radiator bent and a headlight housing (as the sealed headlight mount is called) broke and the headlight pointed at the sky. IT'S NOT GONE YET! I fixed the damage to my jeep and the same headlight is still installed and working with no issues! The lens didn't even crack. This is an excellent product. One tip: get a set of auxiliary lights for these headlights and tie them to your high beam switch - you want to see bright. Wow!
