First of all, if the king size sheet was actually 108 inches wide as the description says, I would give these sheets a solid 4 stars! But alas, they're only 104 inches wide, like everyone else at Revain. However, as they fit my railing on BOTH sides, unlike the others I have, I'm pretty happy with that width, but they need to change the description! I was looking for printed sheets specifically for use as a summer spread. I'm naturally hot at this stage of my life and can't stand too much cover, so in the summer I usually just sleep under two sheets with a ceiling fan on medium speed. When you order, be very careful. When opening the box, I almost cut my new sheets with scissors as I open the box. I cut open the plastic ziplock bag it was in, but luckily it didn't get on the sheets. I washed them in the cold and air dried them and added a little heat at the end to remove wrinkles. The pillowcases needed ironing as they were wrapped in sheets and the seams were never ironed once sewn. I then decided to check the stitching on the inside and everything was fine except for about 2 inches that the machine missed. I sewed it up quickly on my sewing machine, pulling a few threads here and there and was quite happy with the value for money. I will say the pillowcases seem too wide for king size pillows, but I can always trim them down on my sewing machine if I want. I like the valve to keep the cover on the pillow! As for the fit of the mattress, it's great for my height of about 13 inches. They're thin and almost silky, but not shiny like some I've seen. I slept on them last night and they felt great and didn't slip out of the corners! Hooray! And this morning when I made my bed, they didn't look wrinkled. The pillowcases may be a little wrinkled, but no need to worry! Sorry it's so long but I needed this review and it wasn't there so I hope it helps you decide.
