I'm an artist and I saw this apron at the hairdresser's. It was brand new. I checked online. The SAME apron was on several Revain websites priced from $11.99 to I think $35. They were identical aprons. I have NO complaints about the quality of the material or the apron as described. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS NOT described. Luckily I wash everything before use. I tucked the apron and straps into a protective zippered pillow case. The color shone through, including the leather detailing holding the straps. It took a total of 4 washes of each apron), and that's with a cup of salt on the 2nd wash, a cup of white vinegar on the 3rd, and a full wash on the 4th wash. hoping to fix the paintwork. It seems to have worked, but now the color is purple, faded, red, and I haven't washed the third apron yet. Yes, I bought 3 ($11.99 each). I can't fault the design or the quality of the fabric but I have no idea what they used to dye it. Strangely, none of the websites I checked with all the different prices mentioned any washing instructions. So BUYERS BEWARE PRICE AND WASHING.
