My rating is based on how useful this product is to me. The pictures show this product, 'white', and the model my dentist gave me, made by Oral B, is blue. As you can see, there is a big difference in size between them. My rating for gingival recession was in the 3.4 category and sometimes 5. These small samples are useless to me as they are just too small to be of any use. However, they do fit between some of my teeth that were too tight. Perhaps it would make sense for a person with good to excellent dental health to use them. The ruler is graduated in 1/16 inch.
