Check out the RGB lighting before you buy. It's not one size fits all.

I bought it because of the price and RGB and also because it's compatible with Mystic Light. I regret not doing my homework before purchasing. I assumed that since it's compatible with Mystic Light it would be compatible with the RGB headers on my MB, which isn't the case. This cooler has its advantages and disadvantages. Pros: - @ idle 28c - @ 100% CPU load, 50c sustained with Furmark CPU burner. Ryzen 5 2600 oc up to just over 4GHz (default cooling was 95C and computer shut down after 3 minutes to avoid damage to the default clock) - very quiet Cons: - It is not compatible with my motherboard (RGB backlight). MSI b450 games plus with mysterious light. The device lights up but the fan doesn't as this setup is ARGB 5V (3 pins) and my MB RGB connector is 12V (4 pins). I had no idea there were different types of RGB connectors until I bought this cooler. instructions sucks. They give basic information with pictures, but it's often difficult to understand what the instructions are trying to show you. especially for brackets and wiring. I had to spend another $15 on an adapter to get the fan to start: (Although this cooler works great (so far), with a little more information on this page I could give 4-5 stars and avoid more confusion and another purchase to force it to work as intended. Just note that your MB RGB header doesn't mean it's plug and play. You'll need to know if you're using addressable RGB (Argb) or 12V 4-pin Have RGB and plan your purchase better than me.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
