The quilt is really beautiful. I agree with the previous reviewer that the folds are a little closer together than in the photo, but I think it actually looks a lot better. After washing and drying none of the creases came up as other reviewers have mentioned. (Although if they do come loose, they're pretty easy to fix. Just pull, twist, and sew straight across.) I have two white twins, and I'd like to mention that the underside, when unfolded after the dryer, turns out to be a light yellow one tint has . But once it's completely dry, you'll hardly notice it. Standard loops in each corner to secure liner and a zipper hidden in the placket. Really nice touch. This makes blanket loading and unloading much faster. The cotton is soft and the weave is firm, but no, it's not the softness you'd expect from a 1000 thread count sheet. I sleep underneath without a top sheet and have no complaints. They are by no means scratchy or rough. Indeed, they look gorgeous on the bed. With the right insert, it's fluffy and looks like the shop fronts I've always wanted my bed to be. As a side note, the seller is very responsive and shipping was quicker than stated.
