Works great. Pants and socks were completely dry from the snowball fights and the daily breaks in the snow. The basic black goes with any jacket, and the classic bib design you'd expect from any pair of winter trousers is easy enough for a 4.5 year old to slip on and off by himself. . Closes in front with a deep zip for easy on and off. The shoulder straps are adjustable and have an elastic band so they fit different sizes and are suitable for more than one snow season. The size is true to size. There is plenty of room underneath for jogging pants and sweatshirts. The kid was so happy to get a new pair. All in all I would recommend her.
