Simple and solid shower niche
Great product and easy to install. There may be additional installation instructions in the manual. Last year I installed two in a new shower building. I ended up adding a couple of extra 2 x 4 brackets on either side of the niche since they weren't centered on the existing posts. I put a thick layer of silicone around the back of the flange and attached it to the mounting studs with stainless steel screws. A day after curing, the niche was ready for tiling. Overall, the tiles were easy to lay and the pre-beveled sides avoid puddles. Ours were simply tiled
