Great product and easy to install. There may be additional installation instructions in the manual. Last year I installed two in a new shower building. EZ-Niche works great and I ended up buying a second one to install alongside the first. Please note this is small and really not suitable for use in the shower as the main alcove (hence the second) but my old farmhouse was built with 10" foundation walls and that is the only size, my only disappointment (and why this is a 4 star product and not a 5 star product) is that the back of the niche is still flexible after installation. This product has two fatal defects, two breaking the rules. First is the depth of the niche. I have previously used a different product in my master bathroom. The depth of this product was such that it could be inserted into the rack bay and reached the drywall on the other side, providing a solid surface for support. EZ niches are not all the same size. When installing a cement board on standard 2x4 studs, the depth of the niche will not reach the drywall on the other side of the studs…
