Review on Centric Parts 123 48004 Brake Drum by Marco Hubbard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a direct replacement (87 Suzuki Samurai) but works well.

Be careful if you drive a Sammy and buy it as a spare: Problem: Will not accept standard 'cut' lugs. The holes drilled for lugs are slightly larger and not machined for cut lugs. Solution: Order Dorman wheel studs #610-403. These are M12-1.25 knurled bolts and are slightly longer than standard bolts (which is a bonus as the brake drum is a bit thicker and you get more thread length for lug nuts). I bought wheel studs at a local store. Car parts, Revain didn't have them (maybe they do now?). Made in China. Editing/quality control is decent. I had a lug hole that was slightly larger in diameter than it should be, but the lug knurling was still biting and held up under torque (I may have to weld it in in the future when it turns).
