Very high quality, well suited for shoes

I've been suffering from severe plantar fasciitis for decades and because of my overweight I was convinced that I simply needed more cushioning between the soles of my feet and the ground. Luckily, I've come across a few studies showing that walking barefoot is better for foot health than supportive soles and cushioning. After trying many medical procedures, weight loss, and increasingly supportive shoes with no improvement and only worsening of symptoms, I decided I had nothing left to lose and started going barefoot as much as possible and wearing minimalist shoes when I could only had to wear shoes. . My legs healed completely and were virtually pain free for 3 months. I have bought 6 different pairs of Vivobarefoot shoes in the last 5 years. These shoes are always very well made and durable and they are by far the highest quality Vivobarefoot shoes I have ever owned. The outsole is more flexible, the footsteps are quieter, and the tread has more grip than my previous pairs without sacrificing the ability to feel the ground beneath your feet. The upper is not neoprene but a high quality mesh fabric with protective and attractive lugs around the base of the foot. They look a bit like a brain from above, but that only adds to their "coolness". If you've decided to switch to a minimalist style sandal and are looking for a great, durable shoe with good support, this is a great choice.
