Great design on water shoes

Very impressed with the design of Vivoborefoot. I've worn a variety of styles, from minimalist comfort to ultra off-trail and amphibious support.

Cons
  • Not sure

Very high quality, well suited for shoes

I've been suffering from severe plantar fasciitis for decades and because of my overweight I was convinced that I simply needed more cushioning between the soles of my feet and the ground. Luckily, I've come across a few studies showing that walking barefoot is better for foot health than supportive soles and cushioning. After trying many medical procedures, weight loss, and increasingly supportive shoes with no improvement and only worsening of symptoms, I decided I had nothing left to lose…

Great all-round shoe for trail running and training!

It took me a while to finally order the Esc Tempest shoes from Vivobarefoot. This was my first pair of Vivobarefoot. This one doesn't disappoint. Fit in height (although it looks "long", but apparently it should be). Took it for a wet road test ride and it didn't disappoint. Excellent grip and feel. Took it to the gym and it felt just as good as it did outdoors. I would definitely recommend and would order again if needed.

Pros
  • Michelin rubber rubber sole

Probably a very good shoe but it doesn't fit my heel spur.

I'm sure this is a great shoe for healthy feet. I have a heel spur and the cup is too hard and rubs against it. Certainly better than most shoes, but I won't risk this "breaking". It's also a bit difficult to get your foot through the sock but I'm sure it makes for a comfortable fit. You definitely have to use a finger puller. Other than that, I wouldn't advise anyone to try them if they want that minimalist barefoot feel. I'm sticking with their Primus Trail SG but they are very hard to find…

Pros
  • Splash guard with quick drainage zones - faster drying
