A fantastic light set for the money. It features 12 distinctive colors, but it's actually more like 9-10. These 100 lights fit my 4.5 foot tree perfectly. The speed controls on the remote are a bit iffy and only seem to work noticeably in some chase modes and strobe effects. I was a bit disappointed that solid colors can't have any effect other than a permanent one and that there isn't a combo with just red and green, but in the end I liked the other multicolor features so much it didn't matter lol. Also, solid purple is not the light purple that appears in multicolor chaser mode (I decorate it with purple ornaments). The remote works pretty well at around 10 feet, the buttons are a bit small but you can get them to work. The remote I received only had 4 or 8 hour timer settings, but that's fine. The wire is quite thin, so be careful when untangling and pulling on the tree. The lights themselves are pretty bright, there's no dimmer either, so I prefer a multi-colored chase that cycles through darker hues. Item received very quickly and in very nice original packaging. would use the seller again.
