I had another cable from this brand that broke recently. I have a ten year old laptop that had a bad boot sector about 5 years ago. I let it gather dust for a while and then recently installed Linux on it and started using it again. The old cable was about 8-9 years old (it was a replacement for the cable that came with my laptop which broke pretty quickly) although it hadn't been used for about 5 years so probably about 4 years. Years. Which is pretty good considering my experience with laptop charging cables. This line seems to be even stronger. The part that broke on the old one is thicker and stronger here. I've had it for over a month now and I've had no issues with it not charging or overheating. Didn't even notice it was getting hot. The only feature I would ask them to change is the blue light when online. It's a bit jarring trying to sleep in the same room while turning on your laptop. Because of this, I had to turn the block upside down a couple of times. I realize this review is partly a prediction based on the failure point of my last one, so I'll update if anything else goes sideways on this one.
