We've been using these with my friend who has stage 4 endometrial cancer. She's leaking lots of blood and fluid so we needed something to absorb it all, especially for when she's out in public sitting on chairs in doctors' offices, etc. The other brand we used wore holes in the waterproof pad due to being washed constantly. These did not so we ordered more of this brand.She sits on them all day and sleeps on them at night. We take them for the car and for public outings to protect what she sits on because adult diapers haven't fit correctly and leak. Additionally, she finds them uncomfortable so she doesn't want to wear them all day every day.At home she sits without underwear, lifting her skirt so she's directly on the pad. Each time she gets up, it's changed for maximum cleanliness and protection of her delicate areas.These pads are extremely durable with daily washing, sometimes multiple times a day. They withstand the dryer with no problem. If you wiggle a lot, they might move, but she doesn't so these are perfect for her and her situation. I definitely recommend them.
