A practical product, nothing to complain about.

A few more thoughts after speaking with you on the phone: 1) The firmware has some fascinating features, but in general it moves at a quite sluggish pace. There are other instances that are just subjective that I do not particularly enjoy. In the first place, they are associated with the dialing, recent calls, and contact features. The essential point of the assertion is that in order to make a call, one must invest a considerable amount of time. For instance, the calling feature is not integrated with the history of previous calls; this is something that I find to be bothersome. When you press the call button within the same MIUI, a numeric keypad displays, and directly above it is a list of recent calls that have been received. When you begin scrolling through the list of calls, the keyboard will automatically collapse. At this point, you will need to navigate between the tabs that correspond to the various options. The search tool in contacts is really sluggish (I would like to add: like everything else in this phone). Even after you have located the desired contact (whether in Recent Calls or Contacts; it makes no difference), in order to make a call, you must not only click on the contact, but you must also click on the handset icon. Only then will the call be placed. To examine a contact from recent calls (for instance, if you want to call another number associated with this contact), you will need to perform the following steps: click on the contact, pick "Information," then click on "View contact details." When all I want to do is make a simple phone call, why is everything so complicated? 2) Fingerprint. It is located on the rear of the Mi Mix 2s, which makes it problematic in certain situations, such as when the phone is placed on a table (to unlock, you need to take the phone in your hand). As a result, I thought it was quite cool that there was a fingerprint under the screen. What is it exactly? To begin, using a fingerprint scanner beneath the display unlocks the device in approximately 1.5 seconds (in Mi Mix - somewhere around 0.5 seconds). Second, while scanning the print, Samsung turns on the under-screen LED so that it can recognize the print even in low light (or possibly always; it's just visible only in the dark). This allows the print to be recognized. Even when it's dark, it's not hard to miss. Naturally, you will become accustomed to it, but even so. I hardly put the camera through any kind of test, so I have no idea what kind of performance to expect from it. As a direct consequence of this, the impressions are of a dual nature.

Pros
  • 1) It is one amazing exhibit. 2) Samsung Pay is available, it can be used (including with Mir cards), and it provides a significantly better user experience than Mir Pay does. It is a neat feature that instantly activates NFC whenever you launch Samsung Pay and use your fingerprint to verify that a payment is ready to be processed (and turns off when Samsung Pay is minimized). The change from punch cards to club cards is also done in a user-friendly way; for example, the barcode of a bonus card can be displayed directly on the screen when a payment card is used.
Cons
  • 1) The performance of the A52 is sluggish, and at times it is really sluggish. This becomes abundantly clear when one is engaged in activities involving the camera. It will have a head start over my old phone, the Mi Mix 2s, which was released in the year 2022. And this comes as a quite unwelcome surprise. Despite this, the A52 was introduced three years later, and despite the fact that it is not a flagship model, it is difficult to categorize it as a budget-friendly option because of its price. 2) The offered charger is subpar, and there is no case provided.
