I was glad to get it but not as good as I hoped. The quality is normal, not bad, just not super duper. When you hold it in your hand you can tell that it's a bit cheap. Of course you can't expect the world for the price. Plus or minus, right? I chose this device because of the large display. Thought it would be easy to read and it is. I appreciate it. Tested some known voltages and it works as it should. Seems to be accurate. The cables are pretty good, about the same as any other budget device. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed because the backlight is not very bright. Of course not as bright as in the product photos. I don't know if you can tell from my photos, but it's pretty dark. Turning on the backlight also turns on the light on the back of the device. It's weird, there should be buttons to turn them on and off individually. And the light on the back of the meter is VERY dim, I mean it doesn't illuminate anything. So dark, why turn on at all. I believe it uses the same light for both and fails on both counts. Also, you need to provide your own batteries just in case. Yes, I put in new batteries. It works and the build quality is decent and if you don't need a bright light then this might be for you.
