When my 42 inch plasma screen in my bedroom finally died after 15 years of faithful service, I bought a new 43 inch Toshiba LED TV to take him away place. This new television stands on two small feet located near each end of the screen. And while they're perfectly adequate, they were very close to the edges of the dresser that the TV sat on. Maybe 1/8 due to a costly accident. On the other hand, the dead center plasma had a factory-installed base that pivoted. This also helped as the dresser is not centered in the bed and the screen had to be rotated to the left. This is not possible with a TV with two legs on a rectangular dresser. very happy with it so far. The stand is strong and not afraid of tipping forward. TV very light is also useful. The assembly instructions are simple and clear. The supplied accessories are individually packed and clearly marked. I did not use any of the spacers that came with my TV, but owners of other brands may need to do so. There are many mounting screws of different sizes and they should fit most if not all TVs on the market today. The height is adjusted when the stand is attached to the back of the TV. It also swivels easily to hold the TV securely. I bought this stand based on the reviews and price and it did not disappoint. It keeps my set centered on the dresser and hinges, which is exactly what I wanted. I hope this review helps someone else make a decision when looking for a pedestal stand.
