Review on Genuine Toyota 77740-02130 Charcoal Canister Assembly for Efficient Emission Control by Adrian Allen

I bought this product after Christian Brothers told me I had to remove the CHECK ENGINE indicator to check it. Well the product was installed by a qualified Toyota mechanic and the check engine light came on again. (I didn't go back to Christian Brothers because I think they ripped us off for $1300. Guy's boss suggested Christian Brothers; he trusts their work.) Also, I'm wondering if the part I bought is old / was outdated or defective. First. I haven't looked at it; My mechanic took it out of the box, unpacked and installed it. What I can tell you is that I see water under the car closer to the rear wheels where this product was installed. I've never seen water in such a common place in a car. Of course, as a Toyota mechanic with 15 years of experience, I will return to our family. value for money? The price was lower than AutoZone, but DID NOT SOLVE OUR PROBLEM installation? My mechanic said it was a 45 minute install, so yes, supposedly a very easy install. I'm wondering if my mechanic misled me in purchasing this product because PARTSGEEK had a different part number for the carbon tank. As of 10/26/2019, the mechanic assumes that the part works. Now he tells me that we need to replace the generator and possibly the water pump.
