This is the ideal case for those who use it to swap ngff and nvme m.2 drives quickly and frequently. It is best to boot operating systems on traditional hard drives and use this enclosure to clone to an m.2 drive to ensure compatibility with older machines. I used this to install Windows 7 on an Intel Skylake system by first installing to SSD, then cloning to the m.2 drive, then installing the m.2 drive to the motherboard. The speed is as stated. The materials are good, and if you decide to store the drive in it permanently, the aluminum heatsink is a big plus. I would never use one of these cases without a heatsink. If they add a small fan to this build, a few bucks more would be the only possible improvement.
