Small, light weight, easy to install. Really high gain --- I reach my university's local indoor hotspot at 600m with a signal level that (strangely) varies between -1 and -60dBm (usually around -40). But it was pretty reliable. If you use this to connect your LAN to a remote access point, you probably also need: Outdoor Access Point. This one is very, very good: Ubiquiti BULLET-M2-HP Outdoor 802.11 B/G/N M2HP, but it also requires a 15-24V PoE adapter (I have a 24V adapter, also from Ubiquiti; about $10). 90 degree N-type adapter, e.g. B. 2pcs Silver N Male to N Female Right Angle Coax Adapter to allow the ball to be oriented downwards (simplifies moisture proofing). Network cable for outside. Something to back it up. It goes very well with round posts (I used a dowel that bolts to the chimney).
