Review on FOREO ISSA Rechargeable Toothbrush - Ultra Hygienic Dental Care Device by Barbara Simmons

Product: FOREO ISSA 3 Black Rechargeable Electric Ultra Hygienic Sonic Toothbrush with PBT Silicone and Polymer Bristles I have been using sonic toothbrushes for over 8 years and this is my first Foreos toothbrush. It has some unique features compared to Sonicares and might be worth checking out. Here are some interesting changes from Sonicares1. Design: Ergonomic design with softer silicone material throughout the body and brush head. It feels good in the hand thanks to its curved or convex shape compared to the hard plastic cylindrical shape of competitors. Brush Head: It is worth noting that the brush heads have a soft silicone finish and have regular bristles in the center and the outer edges have silicone bristles as can be seen in the attached photos. I was skeptical about the silicone bristles but they do an excellent job of massaging gums and cleaning the gaps between teeth and gums. On the back there are silicone nubs for cleaning the tongue. These heads will last 6 months before replacement as recommended by the manufacturer. I haven't seen them on Amazon yet, but there are some local stores like Walmart that sell them for $20 each. Therefore, in terms of running costs, they are likely to be the same or similar in price (depending on the type of Sonicare tip).3. Features: Higher capacity battery than most batteries on the market, claims a battery life of 365 days (1 year), comes pre-charged and ready to use. So far I haven't charged the battery and it has been working fine for the past week. It only takes 2 hours to fully charge. It's perfect for long or short trips without having to pack a charger. The sound vibration control is stepless and has around 16 settings, which isn't really required but has the ability to increase or decrease more precisely than just high or low settings on mainstream brands. It comes with a small pouch instead of a plastic case but still looks decent.4. Price: It's expensive or very cheap with Phillips considering Foreo is a European brand and judging by the packaging, style and features it looks attractive. I see good value for money, just two earbuds for a year and long life on just one charge. Therefore, it is difficult to determine unequivocally whether this price is a plus or a minus. All in all, this is a decent sonic brush that offers some unique features not currently offered by other big brands that might interest you.
